[attr="class","opmindblurb1"]2.01 You post your filled out Character Template in the Character Application Section. Nowhere else. Label your app as "Faction - First Middle Last" in all cases. You may post up a draft at any point in time. Drafts that remain unfinished two weeks after posting will be archived.[break][break]
2.02 There is no direct naming convention, but some level of creativity and fantastical influence is to be expected. Common names from any culture would break immersion, whether it be Hattori Hanzo or John Wayne.[break][break]
2.03 There are three playable races in this world. Humans, Mutants and Homunculi. Changing your race is impossible, and being a hybrid between two races is not allowed. Being part of one race should influence your character according to that Race's lore. For a rundown on the races, please check the post below, or the the Races lore page in the Encylopedia Magica.[break][break]
2.04 Choose your factions wisely. Changing them will difficult at best and impossible at worst. Generally speaking, changing factions is not allowed unless there is a large character arc tied to it. Belonging to two major factions is strictly off limits. Being a double agent is not allowed under current circumstances. A character can belong to up to two minor factions. A character can leave minor factions, but joining new ones will not be allowed under current circumstances.[break][break]
2.05 All factions, their plots and canon positions relevant to them can be found in the encyclopedia under Guilds & Canons. Canon position are generally all positions that are limited in number and tagged with "(open)" next to the placeholder for a character's name.[break][break]
2.06 Every member is limited to up to 5 characters for the time being. Only two characters can take on canon positions. It is encouraged to limit yourself to certain characters and respect that your entire cast cannot hold important positions.[break][break]
2.07 All characters start out with one class that each come with a starting kit that provides a basic foundation for your character's abilities. [break][break]
2.08 Additional gold a character makes can not be given to another character directly. All gold is locked to the account it was earned by and can only be made by posting or through quests.[break][break]
2.09 On Power Levels: Generally speaking, the average mage is at house-buster level. Magic is inherently destructive, and most characters will be good at magic. Physically speaking, all characters can be rp'd as though they have a similar level of physical ability as your average shounen character. Meaning they are abnormally durable, strong and fast. This is not to say they are superhuman by default, but the real laws of physics don't apply. Falling out of a third story window won't immediately result in broken bones, lifting that big boulder might just be possible, and jumping from rooftop to rooftop is totally possible. That said, common sense is needed. Be reasonable with this information.[break][break]
